  • The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission have reached an agreement with major OTAs

    On the 2nd September the travel industry was abuzz with news the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission had reached an agreement with major OTA's that would remove barriers to price competition between major online travel sites for hotel bookings. 

    Following an investigation by the ACCC, sites including and Expedia have reached an agreement to amend price and availability parity clauses in their contracts with Australian hotels and accommodation providers.

  • Success for our 2016 Marketing Campaign

    Star Tripping

    We are pleased to report the success of our 2016 marketing campaign, titled ‘Star Tripping’.  The predominately digitally driven campaign includes engaging content on our new microsite with our lovely brand Ambassador, Catriona Rowntree.

    There have been 79,764 visits to the Microsite and 41,161 views of our video starring Catriona. Media coverage has included over 400 pieces featuring many of our licensees. The Star Strike competition, showcasing Star Rated properties, has attracted almost 5,000 entries with entrants embracing Stars and what they stand for.
